Specs: This turbo offers outstanding low-end response with sustained performance and boost across the rev range. The Flex Pro 1KD-44 Turbo features a high-response turbine wheel, larger, more efficient compressor wheel, upgraded thrust bearings, a 40% stronger main shaft, and an advanced gate system. It’s designed for 30 psi boost, with an efficient operating range from 10 to 35 psi (recommended tuning at 30 psi).

Vehicle Fitment: This turbo is a complete bolt-on solution for the 1KD-FTV engine—no modifications needed. Simply remove the stock turbo, and install this one with the included gaskets. It maintains the factory VNT system, eliminating issues common with aftermarket turbos that switch to a gated setup.

Performance Expectations: The standard 1KD-FTV produces 127 kW and 343-400 Nm of torque, translating to about 92-96 kW and 270-310 Nm at the wheels. With a custom intercooler and ECU piggyback, this turbo can increase output to around 140-190 rwkW and torque to 600 Nm, depending on vehicle year. A larger intercooler, 3” exhaust, and upgraded injectors can deliver over 200 rwkW and 700 Nm. Manual transmission models will require a clutch upgrade.
