Built for high-powered 4JJ1 applications, the BRC 500HP Pull-Type Clutch Kit is designed to handle serious torque and boost. Rated to support up to 500HP and 60 PSI of boost, this heavy-duty button clutch provides the holding capacity required for modified and high-performance diesel setups.

Designed specifically for earlier pull-type 4JJ1 clutch systems, this kit is a direct-fit performance upgrade for selected Isuzu D-Max, Holden Colorado and Holden Rodeo models.

Installation Requirements

The flywheel must be machined prior to installation to provide a clean, flat mating surface and ensure correct clutch engagement and service life.

If the existing flywheel is damaged or unsuitable for machining, replacement or an upgraded billet flywheel may be required.

Driving Considerations

As a 500HP-rated button clutch, this kit is designed primarily for high-performance applications where maximum holding capacity is required. Button-style clutches provide more aggressive engagement than an organic clutch and may have a firmer, less forgiving feel during low-speed driving.

For vehicles primarily used for daily driving, touring or lower-powered setups up to 350HP, the BRC 350HP Pull-Type Clutch Kit may provide a more suitable balance between increased holding capacity and everyday drivability.
